NGN brake discs are manufactured from enhanced cast iron with increased carbon content and alloying metals — chromium and molybdenum. Thanks to the unique alloy composition and advanced casting technology, exceptional thermal stability and durability are achieved, even under the most intensive braking conditions.

High Efficiency and Wear Resistance

NGN brake discs provide a higher coefficient of friction due to their unique alloy composition and homogeneous fine-grained metal structure, as well as an original and highly efficient ventilation channel system that ensures excellent heat dissipation from the friction zone. This results in uniform and optimal wear of both the brake disc and brake pads.

Anti-Corrosion Protection

Advanced and outstanding corrosion protection is achieved through electrophoretic coating (E-Coating). During the electrophoresis process, an electric current is passed through the brake disc immersed in a special solution. As a result, a durable protective film is formed over the entire surface of the brake disc. Salt spray testing in accordance with ASTM B117 demonstrates one of the best performance levels in the industry — exceeding 400 hours.

Bimetallic Discs

The NGN product range includes a dedicated line of original bimetallic brake discs. Within a single production cycle, automated assembly of components made from lightweight alloys and high-carbon cast iron is carried out, followed by 100% balancing, marking, and packaging. These discs are lighter, reducing the vehicle’s unsprung mass, which improves handling and lowers fuel consumption. They also provide enhanced heat dissipation and improved overall braking system performance. NGN bimetallic discs are a premium-quality, uncompromising replacement for original bimetallic discs.
